We are a family based small business located in Centralia,
Washington. After several inquiries about starting a business we formed
Environmental Design, LLC. in May of 2010. We are passionate about helping
people attain their goal of building their own home or helping the developer
decide how many suitable lots he can get on a parcel. We are also passionate about wetlands and
their delicate ecologies. We feel education
is the first step in learning about wetlands and how building and preserving
resources can go hand in hand.
Becky graduated from Grays Harbor Community College with a major
in Geographic Information Systems. After working in Yakima for a couple of
years she moved back to the west side where she began learning about AutoCad,
surveying and on-site design. Being the goal getter, Becky decided to return to
college to attain her Associates in Arts. In 2007, Becky graduated with her AA
from Centralia Community College. Continuing on in her education she discovered
her passion for soil and for wetlands. She attended a wetland program at
Portland State University and became a Certified Wetland Scientist. Becky also
began the process of becoming a Licensed On-Site Wastewater Designer and in
December 2008 she received a letter in the mail saying she had passed the
required state test.
